Independent Reporters offers our reporters a diverse
range of work, from general litigation servicess for the legal community, CART
services in educational and corporate settings, and realtime reporting services
for major trials, hearings, and litigation. Our reporters are exposed
to many different types of work. And that keeps
things interesting.

Ongoing Realtime Training |

Reporters can also participate in upgrading their
own skills through an ongoing training process. This training is geared
towards each persons own skill level and
allows our reporters to enhance both their skills and
writing knowledge.

Technology Training |
|
|
As technology changes, so do the tools our reporters use. Training is provided on both software and hardware
so that our team members are comfortable in using new
technologies to their benefit.
As well, complete hardware and software support is
provided to our reporters. We believe that our
reporters should focus on their skills and abilities in
producing transcripts, not dealing with technology problems or
support issues.

Who Should
Apply |
|
If you're thinking about a future in court reporting,
realtime reporting, CART services, or broadcast captioning, we should talk.
We can likely offer more opportunities than any other firms in our area, and we're looking to add reporters who want
to take on new challenges.
We would prefer reporters with at least two years of experience in the field and who want more out of their career.
This includes reporters who would eventually like to pursue a career as a
remote CART provider or broadcast captionist.
As a lot of work we do involves working with other
reporters, being a team player is an important asset to
us.
